Upper Mechanical Glove
Designed for individuals who retain some hand movement but experience reduced grip strength or difficulty closing their fingers. The lightweight mechanical system supports finger flexion during everyday activities such as holding a cup, writing, eating, using a phone, and handling light objects.
Suitable for: Mild-to-moderate hand weakness, elderly users, arthritis, stroke recovery and rehabilitation support.

Lower Mechanical Glove
Designed to support individuals who experience difficulty opening their hand or extending their fingers. The system provides mechanical finger-extension assistance for stretching, object release, range-of-motion exercises and supervised rehabilitation activities.
Suitable for: Hand stiffness, reduced finger extension, post-stroke rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery and mild spasticity management.

EMG-Controlled Motorized Glove
A powered wearable system that detects the user’s remaining muscle activity through EMG sensors. When movement intent is identified, the motorized mechanism assists the fingers in opening or closing, providing responsive support based on the user’s own effort.
Designed for: Individuals with limited voluntary hand movement but measurable and repeatable muscle signals.
Development status: Prototype development and validation.

Non-invasive BCI-Controlled Motorized Glove
An advanced wearable motor-assistance system being developed for individuals with severe motor-function loss and limited usable muscle signals. It uses non-invasive brain-signal sensing to identify selected movement intentions and communicate commands to the motorized glove.
Designed for: Advanced neurorehabilitation research and users who may not be able to operate muscle-controlled systems.
Development status: Research and validation stage.

Assistance Designed Around the User
Motor-function loss affects every person differently. Limb Assist™ is a family of wearable systems ranging from mechanical support to muscle- and brain-intent-based assistance. Each solution is designed to match the user’s remaining movement, muscle activity, and functional needs.
Limb Assist™ devices provide movement assistance and rehabilitation support. Product suitability should be determined through an appropriate clinical assessment.
